About Quality System Designs

Quality System Designs is a Management Consulting Firm located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
We have been implementing quality systems now for over seventeen years. Our wealth of experience enables us to offer our clients affordable and efficient consulting regarding AS/ISO/QS 9000  and TS16949 Registration.

Why are we different?

The President of the company, Dave Boland, has been through two complete, " hands on", ISO 9001 Registrations as an employee from start to finish. Dave was instrumental in implementing 9001 at Steelcase Inc. and then later at Knape and Vogt Mfg. We didn't read a book about it, we've actually done the work. This gives us an edge in the relationships with our clients. We would not advise you to do anything we would not do in our own company.


Dave is a RAB Registered Lead Assessor(#3540) and an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor(#6576).

We can advise you on the appropriate software technology for implementing your quality system based on your business needs.
