Quality System Designs offers conversion services that help implement your migration from QS9000 to TS16949. The following describes our approach and services offered.

Complete a gap analysis, current system vs. TS16949 2002
Convert documentation to the 2000 scheme and add TS Requirements
Train personnel in the new requirements
Re-train internal auditors in the new requirements
Complete a baseline assessment and deliver documented corrective actions.
Corrective Action Consulting

Gap Analysis- During this phase of the project QSD will perform a gap analysis of the your company's System versus the TS16949 Standard. We would start this by completing a documentation matrix that identifies where your current QS System meets or does not meet TS16949. Because you are already QS, an exhaustive audit is required.

Documentation Development- This is somewhat of a WAG, but I feel five days of documentation development would be sufficient to get your system compliant to TS16949. If we were to use less that would be great. We should be able to cut and paste most of your documentation in to the TS Requirements Framework.

Documentation Training- I would suggest using QSD for the training of your top-level managers in regards to TS16949. We can also train the general population though there won't be many changes that affect them.

Internal Auditor Training- This would be a two-day training of your Internal Audit Team. QSD will provide a fun, interactive two-day course in the guidelines of auditing quality systems. During the course we delve in to all the elements of the TS16949 standards and what to look for while auditing.

Baseline Assessment - During this phase of the project QSD would perform a final gap analysis of your company's system versus the TS16949 Standard. We would want to use your internal auditors during the baseline to further apply their training. Corrective actions will be issued to appropriate managers and answers to these will prescribe the final timeline.

Corrective Action- Based on the results of the internal audit we will develop a final plan for registration.
